In memory of Misty Plaster Deans

Misty Plaster Deans, Age 41 of Knoxville, passed away, on Tuesday, August 2015.  She was an intern for CASA Monroe, through Southern Adventist University and later became a beloved CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Volunteer.  She was a dedicated and hard working lady, who cared deeply for the children she served as a CASA Advocate.  Her smile would brighten a room and her love for others was evident.  We honor you Misty and know that your CASA services are no longer needed in your new home filled with peace and love.

In Memoriam of Misty the family has requested that donations be made to CASA Monroe.  Please leave thoughts and sentiments for the family.

  1. Misty, what a great person you were. My family all loved you to death. You always went with us on our yearly trip to Pigeon Forge. I know your in heaven now with our Misty, you and her had so much fun. Like all of us together. Thank God for precious memories that no person can ever take away.

  2. Having adopted a child from Sevier County that had a CASA advocate, I can say this lady was a special person even though I never had the pleasure to know her. I do know her brother Mark, and it is apparent that she was a kind and generous as he is.

  3. The CASA office seems lonely without your friendly smile to brighten our days. I will always recall with fond memories that you called me Margaret, which happens to be my Grandmother’s name. My deepest sympathy to your family. May God bless and watch over them.
